Self-importance - how significant is that?

It is most significant. Well from this perspective: Self-importance leads to selfishness. A few month ago I wrote a short post about it: http://www.patrickbrinksma.nl/2009/05/being-selfish-is-good/

Thanks Patrick, I read your post and get the perspective ;-)

It's perfect to be selfish of course if it's about the proper Self

Much of what you say reminds me of Don Miguel Ruiz's 2nd agreement: don't take anything personally.
That will work as a katalyst indeed, cf the Gospel of Thomas: Jesus said, "Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. When they find, they will be disturbed. When they are disturbed, they will marvel, and will reign over all.

Awesome - I'll post to Twitter. significant. That's a video of You. You are the Universe. All "that" is within you. Created by Love. Is Love.

"And it came to pass that it was for the space of many hours before Moses did again receive his natural strength like unto man; and he said unto himself: Now, for this cause I know that man is nothing, which thing I never had supposed."

Moses response to having been effectively shown his own version of a library of movies like this one (before technology of this nature existed -- suggesting there are still ways to accomplish the same that we haven't uncovered yet).

Or my favorite saying: "Truth doesn't rely on you to believe in it in order to exist."
