Social, location and gaming. Enterprise-ready?

I commented on Dachisgroup's latest post by Bryan Menell, The Equally Yoked Enterprise: Gaming the Plow

It's about tribes, location and gaming, referencing Foursquare and Alex William's post on RWW. The latter is interesting but the 2 years prediction made by Hutch is daring if not just wild. I'm employed by a sizeable enterprise and all my customers are (multi)nationals or Global100 companies, and I do get around - but

Government 2.0 around the world: NL

On Twitter I recently got involved in a discussion with people from Australia (and Texas) about eGovernment. Australia, you know, the #nocleanfeed country where they want to relive the Middle Ages they never had themselves by trying to censorship the Internet. E-government is not something to think lightly of, in Australia...

I got all excited about what we do in the Netherlands regarding electronic and government (making the definition of E-government very wide here).

From closed to open: Yammer 180's the entire Yammer-model

Logo use courtesy of Yammer, of course

Last week Yammer announced the "next wave in Enterprise microblogging"

This weekend, on the very last day of February 2010, Yammer launched Communities. And it went so fast there isn't even an entry on them in the Help section
Communities are quite a shock to most people using Yammer for a while. Information is very scarce, labels are inconsistently used, and there's been a bit too much hardcoding done by Yammer itself.
